The tough yet gentle fabric is made from 100% cotton so it's light and breathable. the weaving of the cotton, which gives the fabric its furry texture, means it can withstand snags from barbed wire or spinifex. Since it never rubs or chafes, it's also comfortable to wear all day, whether you're riding, driving, walking or just sitting at the computer.
As the oldest and largest maker of moleskin garments in Australia, R.M. Williams is the only company in the country to craft clothes from heavyweight 15-ounce moleskin fabric. R.M. Williams has been making moleskins since its early days. The finest English 'beaver' moleskin was imported from France and by the 1950s, a specialist Australian weaving mill was supplying the company. Today the fabric is just as sought after by city office workers as it is by stockmen, graziers, drovers and shearers.
